1 Definition of working population: According to this definition, the working population comprises the following:

persons who work at least twelve hours a week, persons who have accepted work as a result of which they will be working at least twelve hours a week and persons who declare that they wish to work at least twelve hours a week, are available for this and actively seek work for at least twelve hours.

Persons who work at least twelve hours a week are considered to be employed working population and those who either do not work or work for less than twelve hours are considered to be unemployed working population.
