Conference registration
All participants have to register. We kindly request you to do so as soon as possible. A reduced early-bird rate applies for registration made before 31 May 2004. Reduced rates are also available for employees/representatives of NGOs and for students. To obtain these rates, students must submit proof of a valid student identification card, and NGO-employees/representatives must submit an official confirmation of their status of affiliation together with their conference registration. Please send this proof to Symporg as an attachement or fax it at the time of your registration. Please also note that enterprises, interest organisations, non-university research institutes and the like cannot be considered as NGOs. Only private non-profit-making institutions active in the support of migrants will be considered as NGOs.

Please note that all participants, including workshop presenters/organizers, need to secure their own funding to participate in this conference.

The registration fee includes participation in all plenary sessions, workshops, study tours and social events. Also included are the conference package, coffee-breaks, lunches and meals offered at the social events, as well as a 5 days public transport pass.
The accompanying person fee includes the participation to the study tours and social events, as well as a 5 days public transport pass.

One-day registration: CHF 200.-

Includes participation in plenary sessions, workshops, as well as coffee-breaks and lunch.

One-day registration for students: CHF 100.-

Includes participation in plenary sessions, workshops, as well as coffee-breaks (lunch is not included).

Please note that one-day registrations are limited to two days per person.

Congress cancellation: any cancellation received in writing  by the Administrative Secretariat Symporg SA before 15 August 2004, will receive a refund minus CHF 100.- for administrative charges. After this  date, no refund will be made.


Hotel accomodation
A sufficient number of rooms at hotels of different categories has been reserved by Symporg. These hotels are located close to the city centre and the congress venue can be easily reached by public transports. Be sure to book your room well in advance, since Geneva expects many foreign visitors at the time of the congress.
